Space Planning
The term ‘space planning&rsquo is usually used to describe the process of designing and organising commercial office interiors, however it is a vital tool when planning any building or interior.

Office interiors and all other building types require the designer to: analyse the probable use patterns of staff, visitors or customers; assess the needs of those using the space; understand the ergonomics of the office reception or workstation, bar or kitchen; conceive how people will circulate and interact within any building interior; know where it is best to allocate resources within any design scheme, i.e. which parts of the premises are key functional areas and which areas are visible to clients.
